ROUTORA Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when refunds may be available for ROUTORA metered VPN plan purchases. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
ROUTORA plans are one-time purchases processed by PayPal. They do not automatically renew and we do not keep a payment method on file.
2. One-Time Plan Purchases
ROUTORA offers metered data plans valid for 30 or 365 days. Access ends when the purchased period expires or the included quota is exhausted, whichever happens first. A new purchase is required for additional access.
The plan quota, device limit, access period, currency, and amount are shown in the app before PayPal checkout opens.
3. Cancellation
No recurring plan needs to be canceled. You may leave an unfinished PayPal checkout without completing payment. A completed one-time purchase cannot be canceled, but it may qualify for a refund under Section 4.
- Unfinished checkout does not activate a plan or create a charge.
- Completed access remains available until its period ends or quota is exhausted.
- Deleting the app does not automatically refund a completed purchase.
4. Refund Eligibility
Because ROUTORA provides immediate access to a digital VPN service, completed charges are generally non-refundable once VPN access has been used or plan data has been consumed.
We will review a refund request made within 7 days of the charge when:
- no VPN connection was established and no plan data was consumed;
- a duplicate charge occurred;
- a billing error or incorrect amount was charged; or
- a technical fault on our side prevented delivery of the purchased service.
Nothing in this policy limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
5. How to Request a Refund
Send refund requests to [email protected] with:
- your ROUTORA account email;
- the ROUTORA order ID or PayPal transaction reference;
- the charge date and amount; and
- a short explanation of the issue.
We may ask for additional information to verify account ownership and service usage before approving a refund.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are submitted through PayPal to the original payment method. PayPal, your bank, or your payment provider controls when the refunded amount appears; processing time varies by provider and country.
If a refund is approved after partial service use, we may offer a partial refund or account credit based on unused service, at our reasonable discretion and where permitted by law.
7. Charge Disputes
Contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can investigate billing errors and service-delivery problems. This request does not restrict any right you have to contact your payment provider or a consumer-protection authority.
If a chargeback or dispute is opened while we are actively reviewing a valid support request, we may pause account changes until the case is resolved.
8. Plan Changes
Buying a different plan while paid access is active may replace the active paid plan and its remaining included traffic. The app asks for confirmation before this replacement. Contact ROUTORA support before purchasing if you need help choosing the correct plan.
